One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Bullseye was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead.

This is the positions after 500m. Flying Squirrel, Nevele Vang, Lantignié, Brave Mountain, Bullseye, Ferri, , .

Brave Mountain took the lead after 1000m. Flying Squirrel didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.

Bullseye accelerated after 1500m and took the lead.

Bullseye sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.

Nevele Vang sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
