One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Poggio Climb took the lead after a very quick start.




The leader couldn't hold the lead and Beaujolais sprinted to the front.




Poggio Climb took the lead after 1000m. Beaujolais didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.




Beaujolais accelerated after 1500m and took the lead.




Beaujolais sat safely in the lead after 2000m.



Beaujolais were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.
