It had been raining for several days at Solänget but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Red Hot Chilipepper tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Gina that came steaming ahead.




There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark. Red Hot Chilipepper galloped for 60m and was disqualified.




Gina was in great shape so far and looked happy in the lead.




Gina was still in the lead after 1500m.



Waving Knockout suddenly found some strength when the driver removed the earpads and sprinted to the lead.






Gina won. Waving Knockout came in second. Red Hot Chilipepper caught third place.
