It had been raining for several days at Oviken but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Pecorino. Nieminen ended up behind the leader. Baumstark got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two.




This is the positions after 500m. Dominant Power, Nieminen, Pecorino, Order Of The Phoenix, Fair Sunflower, Baumstark, Close Thinking, Experienced Platinum. Prima Drama was disturbed and galoped 50 m.




Nieminen took the lead after 1000m. Pecorino didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Nieminen followed by Dominant Power and Order Of The Phoenix. Lane two Baumstark followed by Pecorino and Fair Sunflower.




Nieminen sat safely in the lead after 2000m.



Experienced Platinum was disturbed and galopped for 10 m. With only a little left of the race Prima Drama galoped for 20 m. Nieminen were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.






Winner of todays race was Nieminen. Baumstark came in second. Dominant Power became third.
