One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Roche was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead. Fennekin suddenly started to galop. Ingvar Nyberg had to struggle to get Fennekin to tror again and succeded after 10 m. When the startcar left the field Shower Power started to galop and lost 30 m.

This is the positions after 500m. Amras, Goofy Pixie, Roche, Kinders Surprise Law, Rüdiger, Fennekin, Thinking Lizard, Shower Power.

Kinders Surprise Law sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead.

Nothing seemed to be able to stop Kinders Surprise Law today. It continued in the lead.

Kinders Surprise Law sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.

Goofy Pixie showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping.

Skipping Vixen sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
