One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Fighting Sniper sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead. Santa Maria was to tense at the start and galloped for 40 m.




Adélie saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.




Black Agent took the lead after 1000m. De Nooijer didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.




De Nooijer accelerated after 1500m and took the lead.



With only a little left of the race Adélie galoped for 40 m. Santa Maria speeded up in the last bend and was first on the homestretch.






Santa Maria didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
