Only a few clouds could be spotted on the sky this day. Kuopio track was in top-condition.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Ir-reġina took the lead after a very quick start.




There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark.




Headliner sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop Headliner today. It continued in the lead. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Montay Bia gallopped for 50 m.



Headliner sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.






Ir-reġina made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Headliner.
