The sun was shining on Karlshamn today. A perfect day for trotting.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Dingodile Superior was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead.




Barefoot Runaway quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.




Barefoot Runaway clinged on to the lead after a 1000m.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Barefoot Runaway followed by Purple Heart and Puissance De Royaume. Lane two Pampered Nova followed by Dingodile Superior and .




Barefoot Runaway kept the speed up and no one had a chance to take over the lead.



Barefoot Runaway sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.






Purple Heart sprinted over the finishline before Dingodile Superior and Barefoot Runaway.
