One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Monsieur Du Dijon could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.

There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark.

Braixen sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead.

Braixen was still in the lead after 1500m. Blustery started to gallop after 1500m and Ulf Ohlsson had to struggle to get it back in trotting.

Carlos Butcher took the lead. Braixen was disturbed and gallopped for 50 m.

Explosive Banana was disturbed and galopped for 10 m. Carlos Butcher sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.

Happy Sparrow was disturbed and galopped for 40 m.

Monsieur Du Dijon never caught up with Carlos Butcher who won. Blustery came third.
