Only a few clouds could be spotted on the sky this day. Eskilstuna track was in top-condition.
One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.
Dead
Stone sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead.
Heavy Puma saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.
Heavy Puma clinged on to the lead after a 1000m. Nessla Vickyvick suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 30 m.
Heavy Puma was still in the lead after 1500m.
With only a little left of the race Tripping Velvet galoped for 50 m. Whatever Sugar suddenly found some strength when the driver removed the earpads and sprinted to the lead.
driver couldn't keep Dead
Stone to trotting so they were disqualified.
Kuiper sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
