One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Lady Starlight could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.




Lady Starlight was in fine shape and held the lead.




Lady Starlight was in great shape so far and looked happy in the lead.




Drogheda saw a chanche when the tempo dropped and could easilytake the lead.



Lady Starlight speeded up in the last bend and was first on the homestretch.






Drogheda never caught up with Lady Starlight who won. Carino Incubo came third.
