One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Pin Stripe was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead. Pegasus showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galloping.

The leader couldn't hold the lead and Handy Thinking sprinted to the front. Pegasus started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.

Handy Thinking was in great shape so far and looked happy in the lead. Bonvoy was disturbed and galoped 50 m.

Nothing seemed to be able to stop Handy Thinking today. It continued in the lead.

Bird Parker seemed to be in top-form this day and took over the lead. Pin Stripe was disturbed and gallopped for 10 m.

Bird Parker looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.

Handy Thinking sprinted over the finishline before Bird Parker and Claretta.
