It had been raining for several days at Karlshamn but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Hidegkuti was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead. Tropical Orchid suddenly started to galop. Henriette Larsen had to struggle to get Tropical Orchid to tror again and succeded after 10 m.

The leader couldn't hold the lead and Nessla Parvati sprinted to the front.

Island Queen took the lead after 1000m. Nessla Pic Bayle didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.

Nothing seemed to be able to stop Island Queen today. It continued in the lead.

With only a little left of the race Honourable Platinum galoped for 20 m. Nessla Parvati was first on the homestretch followed by Asta Brick and Island Queen.

Island Queen won. Malkin Crystal came in second. Scarlet Diamond caught third place.
