It had been raining for several days at Bodø but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Mirage D'atlantique took the lead after a very quick start.




Bottom Up saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.




The leader got disturbed by something and Powerful Scout took the lead rather easily. Gijs Gillis was disturbed and galoped 30 m.




Powerful Scout was still in the lead after 1500m. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Scarlet Gold gallopped for 20 m.



Powerful Scout looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.






Winner of todays race was Powerful Scout. Mirage D'atlantique came in second. Gijs Gillis became third.
