It had been raining for several days at Åby but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Sleepless Freak sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead. When the startcar left the field Unknown started to galop and lost 20 m.




The leader couldn't hold the lead and Brave Knight sprinted to the front. driver couldn't keep Unknown to trotting so they were disqualified.




Scurrilous Attack took the lead after 1000m. Living Shadow didn't have a good time being caught on the outside. driver couldn't keep Unknown to trotting so they were disqualified.




Scurrilous Attack was still in the lead after 1500m.




Scurrilous Attack sat safely in the lead after 2000m.



Tripping Box was disturbed and galopped for 20 m. Scurrilous Attack kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.






Brave Knight sprinted over the finishline before Sleepless Freak and Scurrilous Attack.
