One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Tranquil Mambo was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead. Glowing Duchess was to eager when the car accellerated, galopped and was disqualified. Sammy Lightfoot was to tense at the start and galloped for 20 m.

This is the positions after 500m. Strong Bandwith, Tranquil Mambo, Climbing Bullet, Bernice, Sly Boy, Zanoletti, Cosmic Runaway, Sammy Lightfoot.

Climbing Bullet took the lead after 1000m. Tranquil Mambo didn't have a good time being caught on the outside. Tough Folder galoped after 1000m and lost 30 m.

Tranquil Mambo saw a chanche when the tempo dropped and could easilytake the lead. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Cosmic Runaway gallopped for 20 m.

Sly Boy speeded up in the last bend and was first on the homestretch.

Glowing Duchess was disturbed and galopped for 20 m.

Gonzo Fat Kid made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Sammy Lightfoot.
