The sun was shining on Lindesberg and it was a perfect day for trotting. One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track. Concierge tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Lödder that came steaming ahead. This is the positions after 500m. Concierge, Lödder, Canis Opal, Knuckles Moussolou, Tranquil Baby, Vasili, Blancheflour, Ojsan Jorma Sör. Concierge was in great shape so far and looked happy in the lead. Vasili galloped for 60m and was disqualified. Nothing seemed to be able to stop Concierge today. It continued in the lead. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Ojsan Jorma Sör gallopped for 10 m. Lödder took the lead. With only a little left of the race Quiet Roar galoped for 50 m. Lödder looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch. Lödder kept the speed the whole finish and won before Canis Opal and Concierge. Results
