It had been raining for several days at Åby but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Marsannay sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead. Pilot On Fire was to tense at the start and galloped for 30 m.

This is the positions after 500m. Seductive Devil, Ojsan Hopplös, Thai Kwon Do, Marsannay, Pilot On Fire, Mustang Rebel, Sudden Closet, Deventer Opal. Dominant Bomb was disturbed and galoped 50 m.

Pilot On Fire took the lead after 1000m. Deventer Opal didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.
