One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Zizu was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead.




Orion Hof saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.




Zizu took the lead after 1000m. Carlos Ivette didn't have a good time being caught on the outside. Orion Hof suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 20 m.




By The Way accelerated after 1500m and took the lead.



Backstabbing Velvet suddenly found some strength when the driver removed the earpads and sprinted to the lead.

Kenth Åkerlund tried a little too much on the homestretch and By The Way started to galopp and lost 50 m.




Final standings. 1 Alphonsine, 2 Ottawa Thunder, 3 Carlos Ivette.
