Start List
The sky was free of clouds and the sun was shining at Kalmar this day. One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track. Breathing Ring could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. When the startcar left the field Sowing Winter started to galop and lost 20 m. Gais On Fire saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead. Bright Moment sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead. Standings after 1500m . Lane one Bright Moment followed by Belinda Betrouschian Cherry and Gais On Fire. Lane two Pinstripe´s Hades followed by Sowing Winter and Foxy Lady. Bright Moment kept the speed up and no one had a chance to take over the lead. Bright Moment were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line. Bright Moment galopped for 30 m on the homestretch. Pinstripe´s Hades won the race after a spectacular finish.
