The sky was free of clouds and the sun was shining at Gävle this day.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Red Hollywood took the lead after a very quick start.

The leader couldn't hold the lead and Nessla Benihana sprinted to the front.

Nessla Benihana clinged on to the lead after a 1000m. Giggling Venus galoped after 1000m and lost 40 m.

Ketjap Manis saw a chanche when the tempo dropped and could easilytake the lead.

Ketjap Manis kept the speed up and no one had a chance to take over the lead.

Inkas Close Work was disturbed and galopped for 20 m. Ketjap Manis were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.

Radiating Ruby made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Red Hollywood.
