One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.
Losing Winner took the lead after a very quick start. Kraków Superior galloped for 60m and was disqualified.
There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark.
Stalen Klassikaal looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that
Myriam couldn't come out from behind the leader,
Stopping Cruiser.

Stalen Klassikaal didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
