The weather had been good all week and Loviisa was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Athletic Hero could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.




Honourable Blast saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead. Thai Fighter galloped way to long and was disqualified.




Focused Puma sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Focused Puma followed by Athletic Hero and Criminal Peregrin Took. Lane two Powerful Puma followed by Honourable Blast and Bohrio Vox.



Athletic Hero suddenly found some strength when the driver removed the earpads and sprinted to the lead.






No-one could catch Athletic Hero today who won before Focused Puma and Honourable Blast.
