The sky was free of clouds and the sun was shining at Oviken this day.
One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.
Garda Hof tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Sokeri that came steaming ahead.
This is the positions after 500m. Leboeuf, Garda Hof, Yellow Jacket, Aboyfrom D, Sokeri, Gold Magic Breath, , .
Aboyfrom D looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Gold Magic Breath couldn't come out from behind the leader, Leboeuf.
Aboyfrom D looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m.
Aboyfrom D kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.
