The weather had been good all week and Kalmar was in good shape.
One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.
Thai Fighter tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Byns Enda Blondin C.C. that came steaming ahead.
Babbabub saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.
Thai Fighter sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead.
Standings after 1500m . Lane one Thai Fighter followed by Glittering Diamond and Franciacorta Hof. Lane two Byns Enda Blondin C.C. followed by Sad Wolf and Falling Starshine.
Thai Fighter was still in the lead after 2000m.
Byns Enda Blondin C.C. was first on the homestretch followed by Thai Fighter and Franciacorta Hof.
No-one could catch Byns Enda Blondin C.C. today who won before Thai Fighter and Franciacorta Hof.
