One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Flickering Electra sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead.




This is the positions after 500m. Opmerkelijk, Electric Baby, Perfect Nugget, Stepping Madame, Beautiful Starshine, Flickering Electra, Troubling Pixie, .




The leader got disturbed by something and Perfect Nugget took the lead rather easily.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Perfect Nugget followed by Stepping Madame and Flickering Electra. Lane two Beautiful Starshine followed by Opmerkelijk and Troubling Pixie.



With only a little left of the race Flickering Electra galoped for 40 m. Perfect Nugget looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.






Stepping Madame won the race after a spectacular finish.
