The sun was shining on Kalmar today. A perfect day for trotting.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were The Duke. Walking Wonder ended up behind the leader. Punch got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two.




The leader couldn't hold the lead and Punch sprinted to the front.




The Duke sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead. Walking Wonder suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 10 m.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one The Duke followed by Walking Wonder and Belle Louise Mabon. Lane two Punch followed by Big Rock and Herr Boll.



The Duke kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.

driver couldn't keep Belle Louise Mabon to trotting so they were disqualified.




Punch sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
