The sky was free of clouds and the sun was shining at Klosterskogen this day.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Clever Baby sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead.

The leader couldn't hold the lead and Flying Pride sprinted to the front.

Magic Sunset looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Criminal President couldn't come out from behind the leader, Flying Pride.

Standings after 1500m . Lane one Flying Pride followed by Criminal President and Ridgehead Cahore. Lane two Clever Baby followed by Razzmatazz and Toulouse.

Flying Pride kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.

Clever Baby sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
