One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Mahatma took the lead after a very quick start.




There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark.




Mahatma clinged on to the lead after a 1000m.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Mahatma followed by Carlos Winner and Stormy August. Lane two Tropical Twister followed by Ragazzo Bello and Ufo Broline. Umbrella galloped for 10 m.



Mahatma looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.






Carlos Winner sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
