One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Ouvre Liège was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead.




This is the positions after 500m. Lou Kronos, Hunting Lust, Johnny Rocker, Just Pain, Runformoney, Sergeant Sniper, Fat Brother, Bobby The Beast.




No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Lou Kronos followed by Ouvre Liège and Hunting Lust. Lane two Bobby The Beast followed by Sergeant Sniper and Runformoney. Fat Brother showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping. Just Pain galloped for 10 m.




Lou Kronos kept the speed up and no one had a chance to take over the lead.



Lou Kronos kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.






Bobby The Beast made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Ouvre Liège.
