It had been raining for several days at Åby but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Kamrat took the lead after a very quick start. When the startcar left the field Sneaky Gentleman started to galop and lost 40 m.

King Agent quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m. A bird flew just in front of Sleepy Jewel who started to galop and lost 50 m.

No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.

Advanced Scout looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m. Sleepy Jewel started to gallop after 1500m and Björn Goop had to struggle to get it back in trotting.

Advanced Scout were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.

The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused Sneaky Gentleman galop. Sneaky Gentleman lost 10 m. Climbing Muscle showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping.

Kamrat never caught up with Advanced Scout who won. King Agent came third.
