One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Killer Weed took the lead after a very quick start. La Maglia Rosa was to tense at the start and galloped for 50 m.




This is the positions after 500m. What It Takes, Le Eiffel, Killer Weed, The Duke, Calming Movement, Kip, Impatient Witch, La Maglia Rosa.




What It Takes clinged on to the lead after a 1000m.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one What It Takes followed by Killer Weed and Kip. Lane two Calming Movement followed by The Duke and Le Eiffel.



With only a little left of the race The Duke galoped for 20 m. What It Takes looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.

driver couldn't keep Flora Bervoix to trotting so they were disqualified.




Kip won the race after a spectacular finish.
