The sky was free of clouds and the sun was shining at Åby this day.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Kortney tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Glowing Electra that came steaming ahead.




This is the positions after 500m. Żgħir, Lenita All Over, Mcfeast Magpie, Benzema The Man, Kortney, Glowing Electra, , .




Żgħir was in great shape so far and looked happy in the lead. Lenita All Over was disturbed and galoped 50 m.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop Żgħir today. It continued in the lead. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Kortney gallopped for 50 m.




Benzema The Man suddenly took over the lead. Żgħir gallopped 30 m after 2000m.



With only a little left of the race Mcfeast Magpie galoped for 50 m. Benzema The Man looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.
