Only a few clouds could be spotted on the sky this day. Rättvik track was in top-condition.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Intruder could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. Intruder was to tense at the start and galloped for 50 m.




The leader couldn't hold the lead and Verde Smeraldo sprinted to the front.




Roll The Trac sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead. Intruder galoped after 1000m and lost 40 m. Nottingham Hof galoped after 1000m and lost 50 m.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Roll The Trac followed by Nottingham Hof and Shooting Crusher. Lane two Verde Smeraldo followed by Intruder and The Chease.



With only a little left of the race Nottingham Hof galoped for 10 m. Roll The Trac kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.






Intruder won. Roll The Trac came in second. Nottingham Hof caught third place.
