One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Big Captain could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.




Lookastar saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead. Min Melodi was disturbed and galoped 30 m.




Top Pick sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Top Pick followed by Big Captain and Boom Boom Satellite. Lane two Fetisov followed by Follow Me and Ghostly Sunray. Big Captain galloped for 20 m.



Fetisov speeded up in the last bend and was first on the homestretch.






Fetisov kept the speed the whole finish and won before Top Pick and Follow Me.
