Only a few clouds could be spotted on the sky this day. Åmål track was in top-condition.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Rolling Moon took the lead after a very quick start.




The leader couldn't hold the lead and Flygarn Af Hjo sprinted to the front. Rolling Moon started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.




Flygarn Af Hjo was in great shape so far and looked happy in the lead.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop Flygarn Af Hjo today. It continued in the lead.




Golden Vanity took the lead.




Golden Vanity was safely in the lead after 2500m. Gentleman Rocker was disturbed and gallopped for 40 m.



Rolling Moon was disturbed and galopped for 40 m. Golden Vanity kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.

Meteo galopped for 20 m on the homestretch.




Flygarn Af Hjo won the race after a spectacular finish.
