The sun was shining on Åmål and it was a perfect day for trotting.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Sum took the lead after a very quick start. Slow Panther suddenly started to galop. Per Johansson had to struggle to get Slow Panther to tror again and succeded after 20 m.

On My Mind quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.

Dance Hall Days looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Jesper Ängel couldn't come out from behind the leader, On My Mind.

On My Mind was still in the lead after 1500m. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Dance Hall Days gallopped for 20 m.

Sowing Lady was disturbed and galopped for 50 m. Jesper Ängel speeded up in the last bend and was first on the homestretch.

The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused On My Mind galop. On My Mind lost 10 m. Winning Streak Power showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping.

Mr Confident made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Dance Hall Days.
