The sky was free of clouds and the sun was shining at Leangen this day.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Counterstrike took the lead after a very quick start. Pointing Sunshine was to tense at the start and galloped for 40 m.




This is the positions after 500m. Pointing Sunshine, Jingle Bringle, Two For The Money, Counterstrike, Slow Pirate, Berlusconi, Comet Chaser, .




Pointing Sunshine clinged on to the lead after a 1000m. driver couldn't keep Unknown to trotting so they were disqualified. Unknown suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 20 m.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop Pointing Sunshine today. It continued in the lead. Comet Chaser started to gallop after 1500m and Jomar Blekkan had to struggle to get it back in trotting.




Pointing Sunshine sat safely in the lead after 2000m.



driver couldn't keep Comet Chaser to trotting so they were disqualified. Comet Chaser was disturbed and galopped for 50 m. Slow Pirate speeded up in the last bend and was first on the homestretch.

The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused Comet Chaser galop. Comet Chaser lost 50 m. Comet Chaser galopped for 20 m on the homestretch.




Slow Pirate kept the speed the whole finish and won before Counterstrike and Pointing Sunshine.
