The sky was free of clouds and the sun was shining at Solvalla this day.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Stephanie Star took the lead after a very quick start. When the startcar left the field Burnie started to galop and lost 10 m.

Red Horizon saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead. Burnie started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.

Ace Of Hearts looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Camoranesi couldn't come out from behind the leader, Red Horizon. Unknown was disturbed and galoped 40 m.

With only a little left of the race Red Horizon galoped for 30 m. Burnie was disturbed and galopped for 10 m. Space Magic looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Stephanie Star couldn't come out from behind the leader, Ace Of Hearts.

The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused Ace Of Hearts galop. Ace Of Hearts lost 40 m.

Stephanie Star sprinted over the finishline before Space Magic and Camoranesi.
