Only a few clouds could be spotted on the sky this day. Åby track was in top-condition.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Tropical Closet found a gap and took the lead. Phoenix Star followed before One And Only. When the startcar left the field Im In Trance started to galop and lost 50 m.




This is the positions after 500m. Est Ouest, React Quick, T.N.T. Explosion, Corbona, Phoenix Star, Space Phantom, Tropical Closet, Im In Trance.




Tropical Closet sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead. Corbona was disturbed and galoped 40 m.




Im In Trance looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m.




Im In Trance kept the speed up and no one had a chance to take over the lead.



Im In Trance were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.






One And Only won. Im In Trance came in second. Space Phantom caught third place.
