The sun was shining and the birds was singing on Kausala today.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Sudden Ruby could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. Pekka Korpi wanted a little to much in the start and Set Me Free galoped for 10 m.




This is the positions after 500m. Vittorioso, Finally Found You, Glowing Wind, Mystérieux, Lonely Queen, Singing Thought, Sudden Ruby, Påarps Ängla.




Vittorioso was in great shape so far and looked happy in the lead. Unknown galoped after 1000m and lost 40 m.




Vittorioso was still in the lead after 1500m.




Vittorioso sat safely in the lead after 2000m.



With only a little left of the race Lonely Queen galoped for 20 m. Påarps Ängla was disturbed and galopped for 50 m. Vittorioso were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.

The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused Påarps Ängla galop. Påarps Ängla lost 20 m.




Singing Thought sprinted over the finishline before Finally Found You and Vittorioso.
