One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Liz could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. When the startcar left the field Wolly Grove started to galop and lost 50 m.




The leader couldn't hold the lead and Frozen Dream sprinted to the front.




Wolly Grove looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Liz couldn't come out from behind the leader, Frozen Dream.




Frozen Dream was still in the lead after 1500m.




Wolly Grove put some pressure on the leader and could take over.



Liz was disturbed and galopped for 50 m. Wolly Grove looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.






Wolly Grove didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
