One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Stretching Hollywood found a gap and took the lead. Blushing Jewel followed before Styxon Ciniferalis. When the startcar left the field Styxon Ciniferalis started to galop and lost 20 m.




The field stabalized after the bend and the speed was reduced.

Stretching Hollywood kept the speed the whole finish and won before Blushing Jewel and Styxon Ciniferalis.
