The sun was shining on Kalajoki and it was a perfect day for trotting.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Syntynyt Juoksemaan found a gap and took the lead. Pointe Du Croisic followed before Hard Rocket. Juha Länsimäki wanted a little to much in the start and Hard Rocket galoped for 10 m.




The leader couldn't hold the lead and Pointe Du Croisic sprinted to the front.




Hard Rocket sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead.

The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused Syntynyt Juoksemaan galop. Syntynyt Juoksemaan lost 40 m.




Hard Rocket won the race after a spectacular finish.
