It had been raining for several days at Axevalla but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Slight Twist was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead.




Stepping Starlight saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.




The leader got disturbed by something and Aksel took the lead rather easily.




Slight Twist saw a chanche when the tempo dropped and could easilytake the lead.



Slight Twist looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.






Aksel never caught up with Slight Twist who won. Stepping Starlight came third.
