It had been raining for several days at Rättvik but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Giggs The Man was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead.

The leader couldn't hold the lead and Fernande sprinted to the front. A bird flew just in front of Bolli Stolli who started to galop and lost 10 m. Flessel was disturbed and galoped 20 m.

Tripping Sunflower looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Wolly Gold couldn't come out from behind the leader, Fernande.

Frozen Garden accelerated after 1500m and took the lead.

Giggs The Man galloped way to long and was disqualified. Frozen Garden kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.

Zanoletti was disturbed and galopped for 30 m. Bolli Stolli galoped for 60m and was disqualified.

Winner of todays race was Frozen Garden. Tripping Sunflower came in second. Wolly Gold became third.
