One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Frozen Boulder could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. Saviour Son galloped for 60m and was disqualified.




The leader couldn't hold the lead and Modest Raspberry sprinted to the front.




Speedy Snake looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Zila Terra Cherry couldn't come out from behind the leader, Modest Raspberry. Saviour Son was disturbed and galoped 40 m.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop Modest Raspberry today. It continued in the lead.



Modest Raspberry sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.






Speedy Snake made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Modest Raspberry.
