One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Vaportrail Jazzy took the lead after a very quick start. Piccinini was to tense at the start and galloped for 30 m.




There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark.




Speedy Devil sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead.




Speedy Devil was still in the lead after 1500m. Emo Boy started to gallop after 1500m and Svein Ove Wassberg had to struggle to get it back in trotting.



Speedy Devil kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.






Piccinini won the race after a spectacular finish.
