One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track. Striking Lily tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Calligaris that came steaming ahead. The leader couldn't hold the lead and Striking Lily sprinted to the front. Sijbring sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead. Flying Squirrel saw a chanche when the tempo dropped and could easilytake the lead. Sijbring suddenly took over the lead. Flying Squirrel was first on the homestretch followed by Sijbring and Striking Lily. Striking Lily galopped for 20 m on the homestretch. No-one could catch Flying Squirrel today who won before Calligaris and Sijbring. Results
