The sky was free of clouds and the sun was shining at Åmål this day.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Stifling Trap could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.

The leader couldn't hold the lead and Boiteau sprinted to the front. A bird flew just in front of Frimpong De Sticky who started to galop and lost 50 m.

No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.

Standings after 1500m . Lane one Boiteau followed by Baumstark and Battle. Lane two Albarello followed by Pierantozzi and Stifling Trap.

Pierantozzi suddenly took over the lead.

Stifling Trap took the lead after a speedrush. Albarello was disturbed and gallopped for 10 m.

Stifling Trap looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.

No-one could catch Stifling Trap today who won before Max Bo and Pierantozzi.
